New York in two weeks to audition for The Glee Project. Everyone *fingers crossed*. I’m gonna do my best to rock their socks off. I’m proud of myself for actually going to something I really want. I want it so bad that I’m not even nervous. I just want to show them what I can do and hopefully they will see it.
Seriously, I’m so thankful that my life isn’t pathetic. I’ve got a job where I make good money, a family that is always supporting me, a boyfriend and a shiba who love me, great friends who have my back, and just honestly not giving any fucks about what anyone thinks. This is the happiest I’ve ever been and I’m so glad that I am who I am.
People never seize to amaze me. In good ways and bad ways. What is really amazing though is when people who are most important come together and pull through for you. Netflix brought be Jane Eyre the other day. I was dying to see it and sure enough it didn’t disappoint. I would insist anyone who likes Pride and Prejudice or Ever After to watch it. Movies set in those times always get to me. They feel so powerful. I wish I lived in a time like that. The men are all so dapper and handsome.
I need something different in my life. I need to figure out a way to do what I really want to do. I want so much more than this. I’ll get there, I just need time.
My birthday is less than two months away and I can’t believe I’ll be 22. It’s really crazy because I feel like I just turned 21. I don’t know where this year has gone. I’m so grateful that I have the best boyfriend, best baby puppy, a well paying job, a few great friends, a roof over my head, food in the fridge, good health, and the most wonderful parents and siblings in the world.
It’s probably really bad that I’m ready for Christmas already. I guess I should be more excited about turning 22 first and my 2 years with my boyfriend in about a month or so. I can’t help it though. Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I’ve actually already started my shopping. Woop! Only 114 days left to go!
Our power is not back on yet. I really don’t know how people who don’t rely on electricity survive. I’ve spent so much money this week on eating out (no fridge), bordem (shopping for things I don’t need), spending no time at home (no way to charge our phones, computers, watch our shows). I’m down my daddy”s for the weekend. It’s so nice to get away and be away from work and everyday life and enjoy the relaxing and the beach! Hairspray was so good! I miss performing so much. On top of the show being great, so was dinner at the diner. I got what had to have been a 16oz crabcake. I only ate half of it. I am exhausted and I’ve never been more happy to be in this bed right now.
